## What this site is

Vidu Q4 (Preview) is the flagship video generation model in the Vidu line from ShengShu Technology. It focuses on image-conditioned generation: image-to-video animates a single frame, and reference-to-video keeps characters, objects, and styles consistent across shots using up to 12 reference images plus up to 3 audio or voice references. Native synchronized audio - ambience, effects, and lip-matched speech - is produced in the same pass as the picture.

vidu-q4.com is a separate browser workbench for that model: no local tooling, credit-based generation after sign-in, and guides plus prompt examples. Writing a prompt and choosing settings can be done before signing in. Generating a clip requires an account and credits.

## Studio

Open the studio at https://vidu-q4.com/dashboard/ai-video/home.

Workflows offered:

- Image to video: one still as the start frame; the output follows that frame's aspect ratio.
- Reference to video: 1-12 reference images plus up to 3 audio references, cited in the prompt with @image-1 style tags.

Clip length is 3-16 seconds. Resolutions are 540p, 720p, 1080p, 2K, and 4K. Reference mode offers five aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4. Native audio can be toggled off. The result downloads as an MP4.

## Credits

Authoritative generation cost in this studio:

credits = duration seconds × per-second rate

| Resolution | Credits/second | 5s clip |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 540p | 9 | 45 |
| 720p | 19 | 95 |
| 1080p | 24 | 120 |
| 2K | 38 | 190 |
| 4K | 78 | 390 |

The same table applies to both modes. Subscription names, checkout, and pay-as-you-go packs are on https://vidu-q4.com/pricing. Read that page for current plan prices. Do not quote a flat per-video price from memory.

Drafting a prompt does not spend credits. Generation does.
